VCCI joins the National Single Window for procedures on issuance of the C/O form B

According to the assessment of the VCCI, the implementation and announcement of the National Single Window for businesses has achieved remarkable results thanks to the efforts of VCCI and Customs.
Ms. Tran Thi Thu Huong, the Director of the Center for Certifying Commercial Documents said, the investigation result for 700 enterprises in 2015 showed that 88% of business knew of the National Single Window. However, notably, only 37% enterprises regularly update information, 53% of enterprises occasionally update information, only 10% of enterprises do not update information. Hence, the functional authorities need to issue the measure to increase the amount of businesses.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Cong Binh, the Deputy Director General of the General Department of Customs highly appreciated the collaboration of the VCCI in the Customs administrative procedure reform, including the facilitation of the National Single Window and ASEAN Single Window.
According to Mr.Binh, VCCI and Customs collaborated to hold many conferences, dialogues and removed difficulties and obstacles of business on Customs procedures, and reduced the clearance time.
“The official deployment of the National Single Window for the procedure on issuance of the C/O form B of VCCI has further confirmed the commitments of the ministries and agencies in enhancing national competitiveness. This is the chance to help enterprises transfer to online transactions and enhance the capacity of international integration”. Mr.Binh assessed.
Also at the ceremony, Mr. Vu Tien Loc, Chairman of the VCCI said, after 3 years of deploying Decree 19 of the Government, Tax and Customs procedures have been improved significantly. The deployment of the National Single Window will be motivation to effectively promote reform, not only helping enterprises save time and cost but also increasing the transparency and reducing corruption and speeding up trade for enterprises.

However, according to Mr.Loc, the National Single Window relating to ministries and agencies needs to the unified collaboration and inter-agency collaboration to improve the efficiency of enterprises performance. Hence, Mr. Loc confirmed that VCCI will continue to closely coordinate with the General Department of Customs in establishment and deployment of the National Single Window.
After the opening ceremony, representatives of the VCCI, the General Department of Customs and the Ministry of Industry and Trade and enterprises pressed the button to officially deploy the National Single Window for the procedure on issuance of certificate of non preferential origin in ASEAN.
According to enterprises, the operation of this mechanism will help enterprises save billions of vnd and clearance time of goods. Therefore, enterprises wish the National Single Window will be continuously deployed in all fields and ministries and agencies.
