Hai Phong Customs collects more than VND6,200 billion in April

According to data from the General Department of Customs, by the end of April, Hai Phong Customs Department collected VND21,135 billion, reaching 31.79% of the yearly estimate, down 6.97% compared to the same period last year.
Thus, in April alone, Hai Phong Customs Department collected VND6,238 billion.
Notably, the revenue in April alone accounted for 29.5% of the total revenue of the entire Department in the first four months of the year. April is also the month with the highest revenue of Hai Phong Customs Department in the first four months of the year.
With the prosperity in April, the revenue reduction momentum of Hai Phong Customs Department has improved significantly (by the end of the first quarter of 2024, it decreased by 10.94% compared to the same period in 2023).
In the first four months of the year, Hai Phong Customs Department contributed nearly 17% of the total budget revenue of the entire Customs sector, ranking 2nd among 35 local customs departments in the country.
Export turnover across Hai Phong Customs increases by 19.5% |
By the end of April, Hai Phong Customs Department completed procedures for goods with a turnover of more than US$40 billion. Of which, exports reached US$20.46 billion and imports nearly US$20.2 billion.
