Revised Customs administrative procedures to be publicised

The General Department of Vietnam Customs requires provincial and municipal customs departments to fully publicize the contents of administrative procedures in Decision 1338/QD-BTC at the departments and their customs branches as per provisions in Article 9, Article 10 of the Regulation on control of Customs administrative procedures, issued together Decision No. 1944/QD-TCHQ. At the same time, the local customs units are requested to instruct individuals, organizations and enterprises to carry out administrative procedures in accordance with regulations.
The country’s top customs regulator assigns the Customs Information Technology and Statistics Department to post administrative procedures; to propose the application of online public service level to the administrative procedures.
The Import-Export Tax Department is required to work with the local customs departments to promptly update the administrative procedures published on the edoc system of the Customs sector. Coordinate with the departments to control the performance of administrative procedures; propose to publicize administrative procedures when relevant legal documents are revised.
