556 candidates registered to take the second round of customs declaration certification exam in 2024
The second round of the Examination for Certificates of Training in Customs is scheduled to take place in late July in Ho Chi Minh City or a neighboring province convenient for candidates (the specific location will be announced by the Examination Council later).
Each candidate will take the exam in one session, and the exam schedule and session will be announced before the exam date.
To complete the registration process, candidates whose names appear on the supplementary list are requested to send their documents and paperwork by express delivery to the Vietnam Customs School before July 19, 2024. Candidates must also complete the payment of the exam fee.

The exam consists of three subjects: Customs Law, Foreign Trade Business Techniques, and Customs Professional Techniques, all in the form of computer-based multiple-choice tests.
Certain candidates may be exempted from one or two subjects based on their academic qualifications or work experience.
Vietnam Customs School stressed that, exemption from Customs Law and Customs Professional Techniques will be applied for the following cases: graduates of customs majors from universities and colleges who register for the Customs Declaration Certificate Examination within 3 years from the date of graduation; individuals who have worked as lecturers in the customs field at universities and colleges for a continuous period of 5 years or more, after leaving their teaching positions (excluding cases of disciplinary dismissal), and who register for the Customs Declaration Certificate Examination within 3 years from the date of the decision to transfer work, retire, or leave work.
Exemption from Foreign Trade Business will be applied for the following cases: graduates of majors in foreign trade, international trade, foreign economics, international economics, or logistics and supply chain management from universities and colleges who register for the Customs Declaration Certificate Examination within 3 years from the date of graduation.
Individuals who have worked as lecturers in the field of foreign trade or international trade or foreign economics or international economics or logistics and supply chain management at universities and colleges for a continuous period of 5 years or more, after leaving their teaching positions (excluding cases of disciplinary dismissal), and who register for the Customs Declaration Certificate Examination within 3 years from the date of the decision to transfer work, retire, or leave work.
