Customs has held many dialouge conferences to solve difficlties for enterprises

In the first 6 months of 2016, units in the sector have successfully resolved settlement proposals for support and legal information provided by enterprises .

The General Department of Customs Division of Transaction and Citizen, Departments of Customs of provinces, cities and Customs branch and units have resolved difficulties and coordinated with other units and functional officers to settle issues and provide information for enterprises on time.

The statistics show that in the first 6 months, Customs Offices nationwide received and resolved 4,693 request by enterprises; Customs units received 15,253 requests by telephone to propose guidance, support, provide information to enterprises; received and resolved 691 cases recommending instructions, answers in writing; and solved 32 difficult issues from enterprises.

Notably, in the first 6 months of 2016, Customs held 67 conferences, seminars and training for enterprises, which provided guidance and answers to businesses and held 50 regular dialogues with enterprises. Also, the whole sector posted 1,112 legal and related documents, 1,579 news, articles about Customs legislation; 1,865 answers to petitions and inquiries of enterprises .

Customs has also generated 1,081 questionnaires and surveys, and provided support and  information to enterprises. Customs also compiled, printed and issued 5,000 legal leaflets with content focusing on the new regulations in the field of Customs.

To reinforce tasks, information and popular legal education, in the last 6 months, Customs continues to carry out  and strive to complete its key tasks and continues to focus on propagating 2014 Customs Law and the documents guiding the implementation thereof; preparing content propagation and common law, the focusof which is export tax law, and revised import tax and related documents.
