Earlier, on July 19, the Ministry of Finance issued Decision No.1614/QD-BTC on Plan of Customs reform, development and modernization for 2016-2020, which emphasizes the role and position of business community and stakeholder in the process of Customs reform and modernization.
The survey aimed to encourage enterprises and stakeholders to participate actively, positively and responsibly in the reform activities in order to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of Customs management in key areas such as institution building, law enforcement and monitoring law enforcement through the development of Customs-Business partnerships and stakeholder arrangements.
Customs has also innovated actively and enhanced support aiming to create the most favorable conditions for enterprises to apply Customs regulations in a convenient and fast manner.
In September 2016, the General Department of Customs will hold a Customs Conference and Business Conference for stakeholders to inform about the Plan of reform, development and modernization in the period 2016-2020.
