Hai Phong Customs Department processed about 140,000 declarations in January

VCN - The number of declarations processed by the Hai Phong Customs Department in January decreased by 26.86% to 137.421 declarations compared with 2022, including 72,604 import declarations and 64.817 export declarations.

Among nine customs branches under Hai Phong Customs Department, the Export Processing Zone and Industrial Park Customs Branch processed the largest number of declarations with 33,159, while Zone 1st Hai Phong Seaport Customs Branch processed only 3,459 declarations.

The rate of declarations classified into Green channels accounted for 62.7%, and the rate of Red and Yellow channels at 2.9%.

Notably, the rate of declarations of Red and Yellow channels at four customs branches of Zone 1st Hai Phong Seaport Customs Branch, Zone 2nd Hai Phong Seaport Customs Branch, Zone 3rd Hai Phong Seaport Customs Branch, and Dinh Vu Seaport Customs Branch accounted for 80%. This is excellent pressure for these branches to reduce customs clearance time.
