At the recent online conference summarizing the results of work in 2024 and deploying tasks in 2025 of the General Department of Customs, Director of Dong Nai Customs Department Le Van Thung said that, updated to December 16, 2024, the unit had completed the task of collecting the state budget for the whole year with a revenue of 20,100 billion VND, exceeding the annual estimate by more than 7% (target of 18,758 billion VND).
Regarding the task in 2025, Director Le Van Thung said that the unit was assigned a budget collection target of 21,100 billion VND the following year. Of which, Dong Nai is 20,000 billion VND and Binh Thuan is 1,100 billion VND.
To successfully complete this important political task, Dong Nai Customs Department has developed a plan and seriously implemented it from the first day and month of 2025.
Regarding the restructuring of the apparatus, Dong Nai Customs Department will seriously and resolutely ensure the stability of the unit so that the restructuring can take place quickly according to the direction of the leaders of the Ministry of Finance and the leaders of the Customs General Department, ensuring the good implementation of assigned political tasks.

Regarding the national key project of Long Thanh International Airport, the Director of Dong Nai Customs Department shared: The national key project of Long Thanh International Airport has been directed by the Prime Minister to accelerate the construction progress and is expected to be completed and put into operation by the end of 2025, early 2026.
To serve the state management of customs at Long Thanh International Airport, the Customs headquarters here is expected to start construction in December 2024, completed and put into use in December 2025.
“Dong Nai Customs Department requests the Ministry of Finance and the General Department of Customs to pay attention to directing so that after arranging and streamlining the apparatus, they can immediately prepare a team of civil servants to serve at Long Thanh International Airport that are promptly trained and fostered modern airport management skills. "We should soon develop a customs management process for the two customs organizations here, namely Express Customs and Long Thanh International Airport Customs, to ensure good performance of tasks when Long Thanh International Airport officially comes into operation," Director Le Van Thung suggested.
Regarding the tasks of the Customs sector at Long Thanh International Airport, speaking in online conference summarizing the results of work in 2024 and deploying tasks in 2025 of the Customs General Department, Director General Nguyen Van Tho requested relevant units to focus on completing the project of building the Customs headquarters at Long Thanh International Airport on schedule and ensuring quality.
Along with that, prepare the organizational apparatus and human resources to deploy the tasks as soon as Long Thanh International Airport comes into operation.
