Hai Phong Customs Department collects VND145 trillion in two consecutive years

At the Signing Ceremony of Coordination Regulation between the Hai Phong Customs Department and Danang Customs Department on February 24, the Director of Hai Phong Customs Department, Nguyen Duy Ngoc, said that the department’s revenue in 2021 and 2022 reached VND145,085 and exceeded the target revenue assigned by the local government and the General Department of Vietnam Customs.
In 2021, the department collected VND66,362 billion, exceeding VND10,362 billion of the target. Hai Phong area alone gained VND57,861 billion, exceeding VND8,361 billion.
In 2022, Hai Phong Customs collected VND78,723 billion, exceeding VND15,093 billion of the target. Hai Phong area alone collected 67,806 billion, exceeding VND11,876 billion.
Motivated by the outstanding results in 2021, the National Assembly and the Government decided to allocate an additional budget of to the city of VND1,785 billion following the provisions of the State Budget Law and Decree No. 89/2017/ Decree-CP dated July 29, 2017, contributing to increasing investment resources for city development.
