Ha Tinh Customs arrests drug trafficker

VCN - The Drug Enforcement Team under Ha Tinh Customs Department has coordinated with other authorities to arrest a man who was illegally transporting a large amount of drugs across the border, said the team.

On the evening of March 15, at Ngan Truoi bridge in the residential group 1, Vu Quang town, Vu Quang district, the Drug Enforcement Team coordinated with Vu Quang District Police and the Investigating Police Division for Drug-related Crimes (Ha Tinh Provincial Police) and Ha Tinh Province Border Guards to arrest Le Dinh Tu, born in 1992, residing in Nghia Thai Commune, Tan Ky District, Nghe An Province while he was driving a motorbike.

At the site, the working group seized four bags containing about 1kg of methamphetamine and 7kg of ketamine.

The man confessed that he is Linh and was hired to carry the drugs from Vu Quang district to Vinh city, then to Binh Thuan.
