The People's Committee of Quang Ninh province issued Official Dispatch No. 3113/UBND-KTTC directing the strengthening of preventing and combating cases of transportation, trading of smuggled and livestock breeds and livestock breed products of unknown origin in Quang Ninh province.

The People's Committee of Quang Ninh province assigned the Police force to preside over and coordinate with the Border Guard force and relevant agencies and units to strengthen control trading, promptly detect and strictly handle subjects transporting and trading smuggled livestock breeds and products of unknown origin, and failing to meet requirements for livestock breeds and livestock breed products trading on the market.

At the same time, report, propose to commend and protect organizations and individuals who denounce subjects and acts of transporting and trading smuggled livestock breeds and livestock breed products, of unknown origin.

Additionally, the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province assigned the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development to direct the Border Quarantine Station to strengthen inspection and supervision, coordinate with relevant departments and agencies at the border gate to strictly handle cases of transporting animals, animal products, and aquatic products smuggled across the border.

Improve the effectiveness and efficiency of state management of establishments producing and trading livestock breeds in the area; strengthen information, dissemination of legal regulations on the production, trading of livestock breeds and livestock breed products; responsibilities of organizations and individuals, regulations on handling administrative and criminal violations to raise awareness of law compliance and effectively implement the fight against smuggling, production and trading of livestock breeds of unknown origin, poor quality, etc.

The People's Committee of Quang Ninh province requested the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to direct members of the Steering Committee 389 of districts, towns and cities to strictly prevent, detect and combat cases of transporting and trading smuggled livestock breeds and livestock breed products of unknown origin, etc.
