Four business directors face exit bans over persistent tax debts

VCN - The HCM City Customs Department has issued exit suspension notice for four business directors who have persistently failed to settle their import-export tax debts. The exit restrictions took effect on November 12, 2024.

According to Saigon port area 4 Customs Branch, notices have been issued to prevent the following directors from leaving the country:

Ms. Tran Ngoc Nhanh, born in 1966, Director of Thanh Ngoc Co., Ltd. (Tax ID: 1800606144), located at 11/7 Cach Mang Thang Tam, An Hoa Ward, Ninh Kieu District, Can Tho City.

Ms. Nguyen Hong Ngan, born in 1970, Director of Trang An Packaging Design and Trading Private Enterprise (Tax ID: 0301822010), located at 86 Xuan Thuy, Thao Dien Ward, Thu Duc District, Ho Chi Minh City.

Ms. Tran Thi Tuyet Mai, born in 1960, Director of Tuyet Mai Phat Production and Trading Import-Export Service Co., Ltd. (formerly Tuyet Mai Production and Trading Import-Export Service Co., Ltd., Tax ID: 0304263829), located at 25 TX 22 Street, Quarter 1, Thanh Xuan Ward, District 12, Ho Chi Minh City.

Mr. Tran Tuan Khuong, Director of Nhat Lang One-Member Co., Ltd. (Tax ID: 0306086685), located at 29 Street No. 6, Quarter 7, Binh Hung Hoa B Ward, Binh Tan District, Ho Chi Minh City.

The exit suspension were implemented due to these individuals’ roles as legal representatives of companies subject to administrative enforcement for tax management. The businesses have not fulfilled their tax obligations as outlined in the enforcement decisions, which include suspending customs clearance for import-export goods and notifying tax arrears through Saigon port area 4 Customs Branch.

The total outstanding tax debt is approximately VND 150 million, excluding late payment penalties accumulated from the date the debt arose until payment is made. Of this, Thanh Ngoc Co., Ltd. owes over VND 121 million.

The enforcement decisions will remain in effect for one year from November 12, 2024. The restrictions will be lifted once the full tax debt is paid to the state budget.
