Director General Nguyen Van Can awarded the appointment decision to Mr. Dam Viet Nghi

On June 30, Director General Nguyen Van Can chaired the announcement ceremony of appointment decisions of the Finance and Logistics Department.

Attending the ceremony were Deputy Director General of Vietnam Customs Nguyen Duong Thai; representatives of the Personnel and Organization Department, the leaders of the Communist Party Office; key officials of the Finance and Logistics Department.

On June 30, the GDVC’s director general signed the decision to appoint Mr. Dam Viet Nghi, Deputy Director of the Finance and Logistics Department to hold the position of Director of the department from July 1.

Previously, on April 1, 2020, the GDVC’s Director General signed the Decision 954/QD-TCHQ on the retirement regimes for Mr. Pham Van Viet - Director of the Finance and Logistics Departmentfrom July 1.

At the ceremony, Director General Nguyen Van Can highly appreciated efforts, dedication and contributions of Mr. Pham Van Viet in his work.

For the new director of theFinance and Logistics Department, Mr.Dam Viet Nghiheld director position of a local department, was professionally trained and worked with the Finance and Logistics Department.

During implementing appointment procedures, Mr. Dam Viet Nghi gained high confidence from the leaders of the Ministry of Finance, Communist Party and the GDVC; especially the support of the officials of the Finance and Logistics Department.

Regarding the performance of tasks in the future, Director General Nguyen Van Can asked Mr. Dam Viet Nghi and the department’s key officials to continue promoting the achievements, maintaining the solidarity and agreement for the departments’ leader fulfill the tasks, especially the financial administration and logistics of the Customs sector.

Mr. Dam Viet Nghi expressed his determination to unite with the department’s leadership to continue leading the department to successfully accomplish assigned tasks.
