In the third quarter of 2024, the General Department of Customs will continue to urge and closely coordinate with ministries and agencies to implement the Master Plan for implementing the National Single Window, the ASEAN Single Window and trade facilitation.
As of September 30, 2024, 250 administrative procedures of 13 ministries and agencies have been connected to the National Single Window.
To date, more than 74,200 enterprises have carried out administrative procedures through the National Single Window.
Regarding the ASEAN Single Window, Vietnam maintains an official connection to exchange electronic certificate of origin form D with all nine ASEAN member countries.
At the same time, Vietnam will coordinate with the ASEAN Secretariat and member countries to deploy the connection to exchange ASEAN Customs declarations as planned.
In addition, ASEAN members are discussing to develop solutions and roadmaps for connecting and exchanging electronic documents between ASEAN and partners such as Japan, China, and South Korea.
Regarding the project to expand the National Single Window Portal and connect the ASEAN Single Window mechanism (phase 3), the General Department of Customs continues to coordinate with the consulting units to implement related contents.
