Quang Binh, KhamMuon Customs cooperates in exchanging information
The meeting between Quang Binh Customs and KhamMuon Customs |
This meeting is an opportunity for the Customs forces of both sides to exchange and share information, and also an occasion to consolidate and develop the long-term cooperative relationship, which was established since 2000.
The Customs delegations of both sides informed each other about the implementation of tasks and cooperation results between Quang Binh Customs and KhamMuon Customs from 2022 to present.
At the same time, they discussed difficulties and obstacles in the state management of Customs, such as the proposal to change the working hours at the NaPhau-Cha Lo border gate pair from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.; the upgrade of traffic infrastructure at NaPhau border gate and expansion of the route to Cha Lo border gate...
Based on approved contents at the meeting, Quang Binh Customs and KhamMuon Customs signed a cooperation memorandum, agreeing that the Customs agencies of the two provinces will regularly exchange and provide information to improve the effectiveness of state management of Customs.
Strengthening customs modernization, expanding the scope of exchange and provision of information on customs records through the ASEAN Single Window; effectively implementing bilateral and multilateral agreements signed by the two countries; realizing the commitments between Vietnam and Laos on facilitating means and goods crossing the border.
Researching and recommending to superiors of each side to amend and supplement customs policies and procedures to create more favorable conditions for export, import, exit and entry activities; organizing a provincial-level meeting every two years and a joint meeting between the Customs of the border gate pairs: Cha Lo-NaPhau and Ca Roong-NongMa every 6 months.
