In addition to information dissemination and communication activities by informing enterprises about partnership activities organized by the Department and Sub-Department on the website and through other media, the interests of the parties when participating partnership activities, quarterly partner newsletter editor; Da Nang Customs Department focuses on activities to support enterprises in order to facilitate trade and raise awareness and capacity for legal compliance.Accordingly, Danang Customs Department promotes the development of partnerships with enterprises and related parties with a number of key activities including information and propaganda about partnership activities; supporting enterprises to facilitate trade and raise awareness and capacity legal compliance; strengthening consultation and dialogue activities; supervising law enforcement and cooperating with parties.According to the Director of Da Nang Customs Department Quach Dang Hoa, with the motto: "Customs + Enterprises = Partners", in the future, Danang Customs Department will continue to implement the plan to develop Customs - Enterprises partnerships and related parties.

Specific solutions are implemented such as: promptly propagating new policies and laws; providing supporting at enterprise headquarters to solve problems arising for priority enterprises and enterprises which are regular partners; arranging staff with knowledge and capacity to directly receive problems of enterprises through direct channels, e-mail, hotlines, advice on electronic websites; strengthening innovation in the form of dialogues by subjects, target groups and industry sectors.

With the spirit of listening to feedback from enterprises, in 2019 Da Nang Customs Department also collaborated with Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Da Nang branch to organize a survey of 340 import-export enterprises, logistics, Customs clearance agents in the process of customs clearance. Thereby, promptly receiving and solving problems and acknowledging the contents that are not authorized, beyond the authority to transfer to relevant agencies for consideration, reply, to report and propose to a higher level.

The results showed that in the first half of 2019, the total number of customs declaration forms was more than 52,000, an increase of 8.91% compared to the same period in 2018, of which Green flow: 29,688 declarations (56.80%), Golden channel: 20,166 declarations (38.58%), Red flow: 2,412 declarations (4.62%). In which, the percentage of Red flow declarations (actual goods inspection) was lower than the average rate of the whole industry (5.00%).In particular, one of the solutions of the Danang Customs Department is to assess the compliance of enterprises, in order to reduce the rate of actual goods inspection. Accordingly, the unit regularly monitors, synthesizes and collects violations and errors of enterprises occurring in the area with information on the system and related information systems; collect and update information related to enterprises in the system and review and re-evaluate the ranking of enterprises; organize classification of enterprises according to management requirements and provide information, support enterprises to comply with the law in accordance with regulations on compliance management.

In addition to the above solutions, to actively support enterprises in implementing customs procedures, Da Nang Customs Department focuses on building a team of specialized officers. The Customs Department has promulgated the regulation on selection and use of a team of experts to support units in solving problems of enterprises; is the leading force in training officers of the Department, supported training for enterprises in the process of declaration and customs clearance when requested. Arrange capable, qualified, knowledgeable and experienced officers in the field of work, having good moral qualities to directly solve procedures for enterprises.

According to Da Nang Customs Department, the deep and wide deployment of partnership activities in the whole industry will encourage the business community to actively cooperate, share and accompany Customs authorities. The effective implementation of this work has contributed to innovating the management mode of Customs and Enterprises; complete the system of legal documents, support implementation, supervision, encourage enterprises to voluntarily comply with the law; improving the performance quality of State agencies, serving people and enterprises better.

According to Da Nang Customs Department, in the first half of 2019, total import and export turnover reached US$ 1,685 billion, up 2.20% compared to the same period in 2018. Of which, import turnover reached US$ 800.7 million, export turnover reached US$ 884.5 million. Total number of customs declaration forms: 52,266 declarations, up 8.91% compared to the same period in 2018. Total number of ships (including tourism) was 861; immigration aircraft was 21,080 flights with over 2.5 million passengers.

The total revenue collected in the first 6 months of the year is 1,945 billion VND, achieving 50% of the assigned target, achieving 47.5% of the targeted goal, increasing by 2% over the same period in 2018. The cause is mainly due to: large-sized cars with large capacity and items of components and spare parts imported via Da Nang Port border gate increased over the same period in 2018.
