90,000 liters of DO oil seized by Customs and Coast Guard forces

VCN - VCN - Fleet 3 of the Anti-smuggling and Investigation Department- the General Department of Vietnam, Coast Guard Region 3 Command and the working group of Reconnaissance Group No. 2, Coast Guard Command have seized a ship for illegal transport of 90,000 liters of DO oil.

Earlier, at 5:30 p.m. on May 15, in waters about 120 nautical miles southeast of Con Dao, the law enforcement forces inspected the ship BT-99900-TS, owned by Mr. Vo Van Tieng, born in 1970, residing at Tan My Chanh, My Tho city, Tien Giang province as captain.

At the time of inspection, there were four crew members on the ship transporting 90,000 liters of DO oil without invoices or documents proving legal origin.

On the afternoon of May 17, the competent forces escorted the ship to Fleet 301 port in Vung Tau city for further investigation and handling.
