The Customs has cut 37 teams

According to representative of the Personnel and Organization Department (under the General Department of Customs), at the provincial and municipal Customs Departments, after reviewing the organizational apparatus according to the criteria for restructuring of teams under Customs Branches, the General Department has reviewed and restructured teams under Departments such as Hanoi, Quang Ninh, Tay Ninh and Hai Phong.

Accordingly, 37 teams have been cut at Customs Department. Of which, Hanoi reduced 18 teams; Quang Ninh reduced 06 teams and Tay Ninh team reduced 13 teams.

At present, the General Department of Customs is reviewing and restructuring the organizational apparatus of 6 local Customs Departments: An Giang, Ca Mau, Dien Bien, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai and Kien Giang. It is expected to reduce 30 teams at these units.

It is known that in the second quarter of 2018, the General Department of Customs will complete the review, rearrange the organization, team structure, and teams of customs departments in the remaining 25 provinces.

According to the plan, in the third quarter of 2018, the General Department of Customs will report to the Ministry of Finance on the streamlining of the organizational apparatus of Customs Branches and equivalent units under the Customs department of the provinces and cities in accordance with the criteria for establishment and restructuring of Customs Branches in Decision No. 2015 / QD-BTC dated 6th September 2017).

In the fourth quarter, the General Department of Customs shall report to the Ministry of Finance on the streamlining of the organizational apparatus of the Customs departments in accordance with the criteria for establishment and restructuring of Customs Departments in Decree No. 36/1015 / ND- CP dated 17th April 2015.

Earlier, in 2017, the restructuring of organizational apparatus at the General Department of Customs, which no longer has a division level under department, has reduced 13 divisions under department level under the General Department of Customs.
