Customs responds to action month for food safety in 2024

VCN - The General Department of Customs requires units to deploy and proactively organize food safety month with the theme "Continuing to ensure food security and safety in the new situation" in accordance with the conditions, functions, tasks and characteristics of the unit's actual operations.

With the goal of strengthening food safety measures, the action month for food safety in 2024 takes place from April 15 to May 15 with the theme: "Continuing to ensure food security and safety in the new situation".

To effectively implement the action month for food safety in 2024, units need to coordinate with the health industries and others; strengthen inspection and testing to ensure food safety at processing facilities; direct units to rectify; follow legal regulations on food safety and deploy activities to respond to the action month for food safety in 2024 at their units.

The General Department of Customs also requests the Customs Magazine, the Customs Electronic Information Portal, and the websites of local customs departments to increase the dissemination of knowledge about food safety and legal documents on food safety; convey information about food safety management activities; praise groups and individuals with achievements in ensuring food quality and safety.
