Remove difficulties for the project of customs office at Long Thanh International Airport

Accordingly, considering the report of Ministry of Finance in document 3042/BTC-KHTC dated March 25, 2024 on obstacles of customs office at Long Thanh International Airport, Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha agreed with the proposals of the Ministry of Finance in document 3042/BTC-KHTC dated March 25, 2024. The Ministry of Finance is responsible for the design of the Customs office project at Long Thanh International Airport and organizes its implementation following the provisions of law on public investment and relevant laws, avoiding negativity, corruption, loss and waste.
Regarding the Ministry of Transport, according to the authority and tasks assigned in Decision No. 1777/QD-TTg on approving the Long Thanh International Airport construction investment project phase 1, the Ministry would chair and coordinate with the Ministry Finance and related agencies urgently update and handle complying with the provisions of law on investment the work of adjusting to increase the total investment of Project Component 1; in case it is necessary to adjust Decision No. 1777/QD-TTg, it must be done following regulations and promptly reported to the Prime Minister for consideration and decision.
As for Dong Nai province, the Provincial People's Committee directed specialized agencies to carry out according to the authority prescribed by law as directed by Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha in Notice No. 05/TB-VPCP dated January 8, 2024 of the Government Office.
