Regulation on organizational structure of Customs Verification Branch at Cai Mep – Thi Vai

Accordingly, the Customs Verification Branch at Cai Mep – Thi Vai (headquartered at Ba Ria – Vung Tau) shall comply with Decision 2556 dated August 15, 2016 and Decision 1657 dated June 4, 2021 of the Director General of General Department of Customs on functions, duties, rights and organizational structure of the Customs Verification Branch under the Customs Verification Department.
The Customs Verification Branch shall include two teams: General Affairs Team and Verification Team.
Specific tasks of the teams shall be decided by the Director of the Customs Verification Department.
Under the decisions, the Customs Verification Department shall base on the approved plan and work with the People’s Committee of Ba Ria – Vung Tau province to provide infrastructure, conditions, machines and equipment to the Customs Verification Branch before June 30, 2022.

Earlier, the Minister of Finance Ho Duc Phoc on March 1, 2022 signed Decision 223 to establish the Customs Verification Branch at Cai Mep – Thi Vai under the Customs Verification Department under the General Department of Customs.
