According to Hanoi Customs Department, these electronic files sent to the Customs office during the official deployment (from 1 March till now), the dossiers are mainly under the public service procedures such as cancelling Customs declaration; means of goods transportation in the mode of temporary import and re-export; Tax refund under Circular 38; Additional declaration of tax declaration.

Most of these public service records have been received and handled quickly by the Customs office hence it helps to reduce the pressure of workload, quicker, more convenient and scientific work. Furthermore, it also reduces the time, costs, papers and records in the process of doing procedure for business.

The implementation of this modern service has been recognized by the business community, initially with positive reviews. When using online public services, enterprises enjoy benefits such as: fast and convenient because the service operates on electronic environment, people and enterprises can interact with this modern model at any times and everywhere as long as there is an internet connection and especially the processing speed of the system is fast. According to the representative of Tea Kwang Hanoi Co., Ltd, since the public service was introduced, employees only need to log in to the internet and after a few operations, they can send the file to the Customs office at the company. If there are missing or incomplete files in the dossier, the Customs agency will respond directly to the portal. The company can update the status of records on the portal.
