VCN- Based on Decision No. 65/2015 / QD-TTg of the Prime Minister, December 17, 2015 defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of General Department of Vietnam Customs, the Ministry of Finance has recently issued 8 Decisions defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of some units under the General Department of Vietnam Customs. The decisions took effect on May 16, 2016.
These are the decisions defining the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of Department of International Cooperation; Inspection Department; Legal Department; Department of Information Technology and Customs Statistics; Institute of Customs Research; Office of General Department of Vietnam Customs; Department of Finance and Management and Personnel Department.
The Deputy Director of Personnel Department (General Department of Vietnam Customs), Pham Thi Thu Huong, said that these decisions were issued by the Finance Ministry to provide specific guidance about functions of departments and units in the General Department of Customs, with the goal of full restructuring, streamlining the organization under Decision No. 65/2015 / QD-TTg of the Prime Minister, December 17, 2015.
According to the above decisions, Legal Department, Personnel Department, Inspector Department, Department of International Cooperation in General Department of Vietnam Customs will not establish office-level under the Resolution 39 / NQ / TW of the Politburo, April 17, 2015 and the Decision 2218/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister, February 10, 2015, etc. According to the organizational structure, civil servants in these departments will work under the professional mode.
About the remaining departments, Ministry of Finance is considering comments, feedback and will issue a new decision in the near future.
