Lao Cai Customs: Collecting more than 2.225 billion vnd by tax assessment for 7 companies

Lao Cai Customs also sanctioned 29 case of violations in customs administrations with an amount of more than 696,452 billion vnd due to late submission for customs dossiers as the prescribed deadline, wrong declaration of tax code, administrative violations in the customs field.

As known that in the first six months of the year, in Lao Cai Customs Department, the total export turnover reached over $US 522.6 million, equaling 92% over the same period in 2016, in that export turnover reached $US 223.1 million, import turnover reached over $US 299 million. Furthermore, the state budget of Lao Cai Customs in the first 6 months was 722.7 billion vnd, reaching 57.3% of the assigned target.

In the period, the unit has conducted post-clearance audit for enterprises based on risk management for enterprises with signs of risk, breaking customs law, tax law in import-export activities, Customs declarants for exporting and importing goods on the list of risks but not taking inspection when doing customs procedures, etc.
