Hai Phong Customs implements clearance for more than 93,000 declarations during social distancing

In the above time, Hai Phong Customs Department handled procedures for 93,035 declarations of 8,892 enterprises, while total turnover exceeded $3.9 billion.
In particular, exports were 37,874 declarations with total turnover of more than $1.67 billion; imports 55,161 declarations with turnover nearly $2.26 billion.
Compared to the same period in 2019, the number of enterprises and declarations carrying out procedures at Hai Phong Customs increased, but turnover decreased.
Specifically, compared with the period of 2019, there were 8,303 enterprises with 92,727 declarations, total turnover of more than $4.1 billion.
In particular, exports had 37,067 declarations with total turnover of more than $1.7 billion; imports 55,660 declarations with total turnover nearly $2.39 billion.
Regarding revenue collection situation at Hai Phong Customs, according to the preliminary update of the General Department of Vietnam Customs, from the beginning of the year to April 26, the whole department collected VND 17,398 billion, down VND 5,133 billion compared to the same period of 2019, reaching 25.97% compared to current appropriation, which is VND 67,000 billion).
