Hai Phong Customs processed more than 218,000 declarations in September

In September, the total number of import declarations processed at Hai Phong Customs reached 117,565, and export declarations 100,697.
Among the 9 affiliated branches, Hai Phong Export Processing and Industrial Zone Customs Branch had 52,855 declarations.
While Hai Phong Port Zone 1 Customs Branch recorded the least number of declarations of 4,196.
During the month, the number of declarations in the Green channel accounted for 65.6%, the Yellow channel 31.8%, and the Red channel 2.6%.
In September, the total import and export turnover of goods processed at Hai Phong Customs Department reached nearly US$10.5 billion, an increase of 5.7% year-on-year.
Of which, exports reached US$5.16 billion, up 4.7% year-on-year. Taxable export turnover reached US$24.14 million, down 25.2% over the same period in 2023.
Imports reached US$5.33 billion, up 6.6% over the same period in 2023. Taxable import turnover reached US$1.96 billion, up 8.2% over the same period in 2023.
