Supporting and accompanying enterprises
The first focuses on disseminating all party members, officials, civil servants in the department and the business community about the revenue target in 2023.
Strengthen dissemination of policies and laws on taxes related to import and export activities to the people and business community to raise awareness and responsibility of organizations and individuals in complying and fulfilling tax obligations.
The second, promote the development of the Customs-Business Partnership to be more effective and substantive, improve the investment environment, contribute to enhancing the city's competitiveness and attract big private economic corporations, playing a leading role, and making great contributions to the state budget in terms of investment in business production, and business establishment in the city.
Implement key tasks such as continuing to sign and review the Customs-Business partnership development agreement with the local business community; improve political and ideological education, create a discipline for all officials to voluntarily implement the contents of the agreement.
Annually organize Customs-Business Dialogue Conferences to assess the effectiveness of implementing solutions and supplement new solutions in developing partnerships; grasp the difficulties, problems, and proposals of businesses to support and resolve, bringing the Customs-Business partnership into reality for the sustainable development of related parties.
Taking measures to prevent revenue loss
The third, drastically take measures to collect revenue and prevent revenue loss.
Request all officials to well comply with Official Dispatch No.9393/HQHP-TXNK dated September 29 of Hai Phong Customs Department on tax collection, tax administration to complete the revenue target in 2023 under Directive 479/CT-TCHQ dated February 7, 2023 and Official Dispatch No. 1396/HQHP-TXNK dated February 10, 2023 of the Customs Department Hai Phong city to achieve the highest level.
The fourth, focuses on preventing and combating smuggling and trade fraud in the area, especially at the end of 2023.
The fifth, strengthen inspection and supervision of the performance of tasks by each officer, aiming to comply with the law, and prevent and handle negative acts and violations of officers, ensuring order and discipline, and improving the effectiveness of fighting against corruption and negativity.
The sixth, promote administrative reform, customs modernization, trade facilitation for imports and exports, and improve the business investment environment, and enhance the competitiveness of Hai Phong City.
According to updated data of the General Department of Vietnam Customs, by the end of October, Hai Phong Customs Department collected VND53,227 billion, reaching 66.62% of the target, down 18.38% compared to the same period last year, accounting for 17.37% of the total budget revenue of the whole Customs sector. |
