General Department of Vietnam Customs builds plan on implementing mass taks at Resolution 01 of the Government

This plan was issued together with Decision 185/QD-TCHQ. The General Department of Vietnam Customs has assigned units to implement 21 tasks chaired by the Ministry of Finance and five tasks coordinated by the Ministry of Finance.

There are a number of important tasks such as: Rate of mobilisation into the State budget 15.5%; the tax outstanding debt ratio is below 5%; increase revenue collection by 3% compared with the State budget estimate; and the growth rate of the total export turnover from 4 to 5%.

Besides that, continue to flexibly and effectively implement the "dual goal" of preventing and combating the Covid-19 pandemic, restore and develop socio-economic growth in the new normal state. Strengthen leadership, direction and communication to raise awareness of pandemic prevention and control, absolutely not be subjective to the pandemic; continue to consolidate the new normal state; implementing Decision 1616/QD-TCHQ dated June 19, 2020 of the General Department of Vietnam Customs promulgating an action plan to promote administrative reform and support businesses in import and export activities during and after the Covid-19 pandemics.

Strictly complying with Directive No. 215/CT-TCHQ dated January 15, 2021 of the Director General of the General Department of Vietnam Customs on the synchronous and drastic implementation of measures to facilitate trade and improve the effectiveness of State management and combat revenue loss in the implementation of revenue collection tasks in 2021.

Strengthen to implement synchronously and timely solutions to prevent and anti-smuggling, trade fraud and fraud of origin, so as not to affect national trade, and appropriately protect domestic production and consumption; continue to strengthen prevention and combat of smuggling, illegal transport of goods across border, trade fraud and intellectual property infringement, ensure strict control of export and import goods, contributing to increasing revenue collection for the State budget.

In addition, in Decision 185/QD-TCHQ, the General Department of Vietnam Customs also developed a list and deadline for submitting five projects to the Government, the Prime Minister and six circulars issued by the Ministry of Finance under the responsibility of drafting.
