Four more banks support enterprises to make online tax payment 24/7
HSBC is one of the four banks that have been listed by the General Department of Customs in the list of bank implementing electronic tax collection 24/7. |
Accordingly, from 20/9/2018, those four banks will officially implement electronic tax collection and customs clearance 24/7. It will bring the total number of banks in coordination with the General Department of Vietnam Customs to 22 banks in the supporting enterprises for online tax payment 24/7.
"Paying taxes electronically through banks in coordination for collection and clearance 24/7" is a new tax channel parallel to previous channels. This tax channel allows taxpayers to make direct tax payment statements on the Customs E-Payment Gateway at any time, anywhere, any means, connected to the Internet and certified by the bank as the result of the transaction after receiving the request for remittance of tax payment and immediately conducting clearance of the goods.
The expansion of coordination with selected banks of the General Department of Vietnam Customs to pay electronically 24/7 is aimed to better support taxpayers with more convenient options in the transaction method and for tax payment, reducing procedures and expenses for taxpayers in the process of making transaction into the State budget.
In the future, the General Department of Vietnam Customs shall continue to expand the electronic tax payment program 24/7 with other commercial banks which have signed the collection agreement with the General Department of Vietnam Customs, if the bank meets the requirements and provisions of the tax payment 24/7 plan on upgrading IT portals.
