Enterprises carrying customs procedures at Da Nang Customs Department increases

Da Nang Customs Department said that from January 16 to February 15, about 970 firms carried out customs procedures at the department, increasing by 29.68% compared to the same period of the previous year, of which 542 enterprises outside the area, including two authorized economic operators.

The increase in the number of businesses has contributed to raising the total number of customs declarations at units under Da Nang Customs. Accordingly, 8,570 declarations have been processed per month, up 20.47% year-on-year.

The total import and export turnover grews 11.03% year-on-year, reaching over US$ 272 million. The import turnover decreases by 10.94% year-on-year to US$ 103 million; the export turnover rises 30.54% year-on-year to US$ 170 million.

According to the department, the department has effectively disseminated and updated documents related to customs management policies, customs modernization and reform, and consulted policies on the deparmtent’s website. It has reviewed and promptly removed difficulties and problems proposed by businesses and investors in the area.
