Deploy National Single Window in all national ports

VCN - To accomplish the goal that has been agreed between the Ministry of Transport and the General Department of Customs on the performance of the National Single Window (NSW) at seaports, recently, the Ministry of Transport has proposed to the General Department of Customs to collaborate closely for the expansion of NSW in the maritime sector to all remaining ports nationwide.

At the same time, the Ministry of Transport also proposed to implement 4 electronic procedures for vessels in ports under NSW including: Procedures for vessels at ports of entry outdoor petroleum; Procedures for vessels at the port exit outdoor petroleum; Procedures to port for vessels with a total tonnage of 200 DWT or less, carrying the national flags of the countries bordering Vietnam; Procedures for vessels entering a Vietnam seaport then to another Vietnam.

Earlier, NSW was first piloted at the port of Hai Phong from February to March 5-2015 11-2014 and has expanded to five major seaports including Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Da Nang, Ho. City and Ba Ria - Vung Tau.

After one year of deployment, so far NSW has been implemented in 9 regional seaports including Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, Vung Tau, Quy Nhon, Nha Trang, Quang Ngai and Dong Nai.

In the process, a one-stop portal National and information technology systems of the Ministry of Transport is gradually improving, facilitating, bringing practical benefits to agents / ship owners and staff procedures of the State management agencies in seaports.
