Connecting procedures on quality inspection of aquafeed to National Single Window
National Single Window portal |
Previously, the Directorate of Fisheries sent a request to the General Department of Vietnam Customs to connect procedures for quality inspection of imported aquafeeds and products for aquaculture environment treatment to the national single-window mechanism from April 10, replacing the procedure for quality inspection of imported aquafeed (including probiotics, microorganisms, minerals, chemicals, except chemicals that have antiseptic effects, sterilization, disinfection), which has been deployed since 2015.
The General Department of Vietnam Customs asked local customs departments to decentralise the use of the lookup function on the E-Customs system for quality inspection of imported aquafeeds and products for aquaculture environment treatment for customs officials.
At the same time, customs officials at the branches must access the E-Customs system to exploit the handling results for the procedure on quality inspection of imported aquafeeds and products for aquaculture environment treatment and not require firms to submit paper copies for the license granted through the National Single Window when carrying out customs procedures.
Quality inspection registration certificates have been issued from administrative procedures of confirmation on quality inspection of imported aquafeed (including probiotics, microorganisms, minerals, chemicals, except chemicals that antiseptic effects, sterilization, disinfection), which have been deployed since 2015, are still valid, and firms should submit to the customs officials for cargo clearance.
In the first quarter of 2021, competent authorities received and processed 125,908 dossiers of 1,720 enterprises through the National Single Window.
