The Customs deploys operation at Hai Phong International Container Terminal

VCN- The Hai Phong International Container Terminal (HICT) which is located in Lach Huyen International Gateway Port, Hai Phong has officially launched. In order to manage this key International Gateway Port, Hai Phong Customs Department has promptly assigned a force and connected the Vietnam Automated System for Seaport Customs Management (VASSCM) with port operators.

Some images of HICT and the Customs force’s operation:

On launch day, HICT received and carried out Customs procedures for the WAN HAI 517 ship with a capacity of 58,000 tons.

The two patrol vessels of Hai Phong Customs including HQ 12-91-67 and HQ 12 - 91 – 88 ready for task performance at HITC.

The first two modern cranes were installed and used for loading and unloading of cargo at HICT.

HICT is the first deep-water terminal in the Northern key economic zone.
