Revenues of 11 customs departments account for 88.4% of total revenue of customs sector

Accordingly, HCM City Customs Department was top in revenue collection. The department’s revenue rose by 20.82% compared with the previous year to VND104,264 billion, meeting 89.5% of the target and 87.25% of the ambitious target.
Hai Phong Customs Department’s revenue increased by 20.59% to VND58,098 billion compared with the previous year, meeting 91.31% of the estimate and 86.65% of the ambitious target.
Ha Noi Customs Department’s revenue soared by 19.64% year-on-year to VND24,394 billion, meeting 86.81% of the target. Dong Nai Customs Department collected VND18,563 billion, meeting 104.28% of the target, up 11.73% compared with the previous year.
The revenues of the Customs Departments of Binh Duong, Thanh Hoa and Quang Ninh increased by 1.35%, 64.59% and 61.26% to VND11,217 billion, VND15,369 and VND11,281 billion, respectively, compared with a year ago.
The revenues of Bac Ninh, Quang Ngai and Ha Tinh Customs Departments rose 87.70%, 28.57% and 28.65% to VND9,674 billion, VND9,010 billion, VND7,728 billion, respectively.
The revenue of Ba Ria-Vung Tau Customs Department alone decreased by 11.75%. However, as of the end of September 29, the department’s revenue grew by 78.26% to VND11,886 billion, meeting 76.01% of the ambitious target.
According to the reports from 11 customs departments, the increase in the customs revenue is mainly from the revenue of commodities such as petroleum, iron and steel and iron and steel products, computers, electronic products, machinery and equipment for construction projects in the areas.
