Quang Ninh Customs rises 31% in trade

To support small and medium sized-enterprises, Quang Ninh Customs Department has held three Customs-Business Consultation conferences with the participation of 177 enterprises and large shipping lines such as Maersk Lines, Cu Lines and SITC and warehouse, yard and port operators, and representatives of relevant state management agencies.
At the conference, the department noted proposals of import/export enterprises, shipping lines, port, warehouse and yard operators.
The local customs department proposed the local government establish working teams to review and collect information related to contents that were discussed by enterprises, thereby, providing solutions to support enterprises and boost imports and export across the province.
In addition, the department also organized five Business-Customs Dialogue Conferences and answered 72 questions of businesses at the conferences, and 18 questions after the conferences and removed five problems beyond the department’s competency.
At the same time, the teams directly answered 397 questions by customs officers.
Amid the Covid-19 pandemic, the municipal customs department has strongly applied information technology to improve the quality and efficiency of supporting businesses.
The department has sent 2,365 emails to provide new legal documents and answered 1,212 questions for enterprises via phone, 169 questions via the Customs fan page, updated 100 documents and 381 articles on legal dissemination on the website.
