Best covers of Vietnam Customs songs: 15 winners revealed
In 2024, the Vietnam Customs Youth Union hosted a captivating "Cover Songs about Vietnam Customs" competition.
This meaningful event served as a highlight in the year-long celebration commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam Customs (10 September 1945 - 10 September 2025).
The competition effectively engaged the entire Customs sector, fostering a celebratory atmosphere for the Department's anniversary. It garnered widespread participation from youth organizations across the nation.
By August 30th, 2024, the Organizing Committee had received 39 diverse entries, ranging from simple audio recordings to professionally produced music videos, from 29 Customs units nationwide.
Many submissions showcased exceptional creativity and deeply resonated with the audience, reflecting a strong sense of love and dedication to the Customs sector.
The remarkable effort and investment demonstrated by the participating teams contributed to the resounding success of the competition, reaffirming the confidence and unwavering support of Customs officials in the Department's future.
To ensure a fair and professional evaluation process, the Organizing Committee established a distinguished panel of judges comprising renowned artists with longstanding connections to the Customs sector and experienced leaders in communications and youth work.

The members of the Jury Board dedicated significant effort and time to meticulously assess, evaluate, and carefully select the outstanding entries, ensuring compliance with criteria such as artistic merit, visual presentation, musical quality, creativity, and public appeal.
Concurrently, the participating works were published on the official program Fanpage (www.facebook.com/CovercacbaihatveHaiquan [invalid URL removed] Viet Nam), effectively disseminating positive influence and broad reach, garnering nearly 5,000 visits, approximately 400,000 views, 80,000 expressions of emotion, 5,500 shares, and 500 congratulatory, sharing, and encouraging comments for the entries and participating teams.
Through these musical creations showcased in the Competition, Customs officials have demonstrated themselves as talented individuals, excelling not only in their professional fields but also possessing a deep appreciation for art, their work, and a strong sense of connection with their respective agencies.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Customs Youth Union extends its sincere gratitude to the Party Committee, all levels of leadership, and the enthusiastic and responsible participation of youth organizations within the units, making the Competition a truly effective propaganda activity, contributing to the emulation movement of the entire sector towards the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the Vietnam Customs Department (10/9/1945-10/9/2025).
In the context where the entire sector is currently concentrating its resources on implementing activities to reorganize and restructure the apparatus according to the new model, the Vietnam Customs Youth Union will not be organizing the Competition's Announcement and Award Ceremony.
The competition awards (including: commemorative medals, certificates, and prize money) will be contacted and sent to the units by the Vietnam Customs Youth Union via postal mail.
