Quang Tri Customs launches business support initiatives

Quang Tri Customs actively facilitates investment projects in the management area.

This is one of the key focuses of the Quang Tri Customs Department in implementing the development of Customs-Business partnership and related parties.

Previously, in 2024, Quang Tri Customs effectively implemented administrative reform and modernization; viewed the business community as a partner, and continued to create favorable conditions for import and export activities, entry and exit, investment and tourism in the area.

For example, in supporting businesses, the Department has actively facilitated the rapid customs clearance of import and export goods, especially agricultural products, production materials, export materials, and fixed assets of investment incentive projects in the area.

It has assigned focal points to proactively contact businesses to understand their difficulties and encourage them to carry out administrative procedures on the Online Public Service System, the National Single Window, the ASEAN Single Window, and submit electronic taxes 24/7.

At the Cua Viet Port Border Customs Branch (Quang Tri Customs Department), working delegations were organized to work directly at a number of businesses that carry out customs procedures to guide customs procedures related to the business of exporting gasoline and oil, exploiting, processing and exporting minerals; guiding procedures for export processing and production... in order to promptly handle arising problems.

At the La Lay Border Customs Branch (Quang Tri Customs Department), through business dialogue conferences, the unit introduced to the business community a number of projects and schemes being implemented, such as the Closed Conveyor System for transporting imported coal invested by Nam Tien Company; Hoanh Son Group JSC's Transport Vehicle Management System; the after-service logistics warehouse system invested by Hoang Dung Quang Tri Import-Export Co., Ltd.; Overview of route diagrams for carrying out customs procedures for goods and vehicles at La Lay International Border Gate.

In 2025, Quang Tri Customs Department proposed and suggested contents for implementation on the development of Customs-Business partnership and related parties.

That is, to continue to study how to organize the implementation in accordance with the actual situation so that businesses can see the benefits and interests in a specific and clear way, thereby maintaining and developing Customs - Business relations.

It is recommended that competent authorities issue documents regulating or guiding a problem or a field that needs to be carefully appraised, and the content put forward must be concise and easy to understand.

Import and export businesses need to raise their awareness of compliance with the law, and promptly connect with the Customs agency when encountering difficulties in the process of handling customs procedures.
