Quang Ngai Customs Department has a new Director

VCN – At the headquarters of Quang Ngai Customs Department on 28th March, the General Department of Vietnam Customs organized a Ceremony to announce the Decision of Director General of Vietnam Customs regarding the appointment of a new director at Quang Ngai Customs Department.

Mr. Le Viet Chu, Provincial Party Secretary, Head of the National Assembly delegation of Quang Ngai province and Deputy Director General of Vietnam Customs, Hoang Viet Cuong attended the ceremony.

On 20/3/2019, Director General of Vietnam Customs Nguyen Van Can signed Decision No. 517/QD-TCHQ to appoint Mr. Huynh Van Can, Director of Quang Ngai Customs Department to hold the position of Deputy Director of Customs Reform and Modernization Board (in charge of Southern Region) from 1/4/2019.

On the same day, he also signed Decision No. 518/QD-TCHQ to appoint Mr. Vu Van Hai, Deputy Director of Legal Department - General Department of Vietnam Customs from 1/4/2019.

Awarding the decisions of the Director General to those customs officials, Deputy Director General Hoang Viet Cuong on behalf of leaders of General Department, acknowledged the merits, achievements and working practices of comrade Huynh Van Can who participated and contributed to the development of the Customs sector in general and Quang Ngai Customs Department in particular.

Mr. Huynh Van Can, in the position of Director of Quang Ngai Customs Department, is to promote the internal democracy, together with the leaders of the Department and Party Committee of the Department, to promote solidarity, unity and perform efficiently to completed assigned tasks; Continue to promote achievements in the past years of the Quang Ngai Customs Department, and at the same time promote their personal strengths and to successfully complete the assigned political tasks.

It is also necessary to take advantage of the leadership of the Ministry of Finance and the General Department of Vietnam Customs, especially the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council and People's Committee of Quang Ngai province; coordinate well with provincial departments, branches and agencies in performing tasks; attaching importance to administrative management and maintain discipline in the units.

Speaking at the ceremony, Provincial Party Secretary of Quang Ngai, Le Viet Chu, said that the comrades which were appointed by the General Department of Vietnam Customs to receive the decision this time have successfully completed tasks in their previous positions. The leaders of the Provincial Party Committee and People's Committee of Quang Ngai Province highly appreciated the contributions of the comrades. He also expected that in their new positions the comrades should continue to develop their capacity and fulfill their assigned tasks.

Receiving the directives of the leaders of the General Department of Vietnam Customs and the leaders of Quang Ngai province, the new Director of Quang Ngai Customs Department thanked the leaders of the provincial Party Committee and leaders of the General Department of Vietnam Customs for their trust in assigning new responsibilities.

In his new position, the new Director said that he would try his best to promote the good tradition of the unit, continue with the Party Committee, leaders and customs officials of Quang Ngai Customs Department to unite and build a strong unit to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
