Long An Customs collects arrears and sanction more than 9.3 billion VND from specialised inspections

Specifically, through conducting specialised inspections on three FDI enterprises, Long An Customs Department detected a number of violations in the inappropriate use of goods that are not subject to tax, tax exemption and consideration of tax exemption without implement customs declaration. The firms violated the regulations on management of raw materials and materials for processing and export production.
From these violations, Long An Customs Department issued decisions collecting arrears and sanction with the amount of over 6.6 billion VND and administrative fine of over 2.7 billion VND. Currently, those enterprises have paid
Typically, through the implementation of specialised inspection for S.VN Company, Long An Customs Department discovered that the enterprise used goods inappropriately that are not subject to tax, tax exemption and considering tax exemption without declaring to customs authorities about changing using purpose as prescribed. In addition, this enterprise also violated the regulations on the management of raw materials for processing that led to a difference in the amount of inventory compared to the amount of import and export goods as declared in customs dossiers.
With the above violations, Long An Customs Department issued decision for the company S.VN of 4.8 billion VND in order to collect arrears and sanction with the amount of fine 1.9 billion VND.
Similar to the above violations, the other two FDI enterprises have been collected arrears and sanction from to the tune of over 2.6 billion VND by Long An Customs Department. Of that, an enterprise was charged arrears of nearly 1.7 billion VND and the other was collected over 965 million VND.
