The representative of Lang Son Customs Department said that in 2023, the PCA work at the unit has achieved many encouraging results, increasing revenue for the state budget, actively contributing to state management of customs in Lang Son province. In particular, the PCAs have been carried out according to topics, key enterprises and groups of high-risk products for inspection.
Statistics show that the entire Department has conducted 137 audits, detected 110 violations, and collected VND10,161 billion.

The Post-Clearance Audit Branch alone carried out 44 inspections, equal to 32.11% of the total number of inspections of the entire Department; identified 42 violations and collected VND8.315 billion, equal to 81.83% of the total revenue from PCA work of the entire Department.
The representative of Lang Son Customs Department emphasized that the PCA work not only help collect full taxes for the state budget, but also promptly detect and prevent violations of the customs law and guide and raise awareness of compliance with customs laws of organizations, individuals and businesses.
Entering 2024, Lang Son Customs Department does not assign ambitious targets in PCA work for border gate customs branches and the Post-Clearance Audit Branch. To improve the effectiveness of PCA, Lang Son Customs requires border gate customs branches to continue to direct and strictly and comprehensively implement the PCA activities in accordance with regulations.
In particular, strictly complying with the provisions of Decision No. 575/QD-TCHQ dated March 21, 2019 of the Director General of the General Department of Customs on promulgating the PCA procedures and directions of the General Department of Customs at the Directive No. 7180/CT-TCHQ dated November 19, 2019 on rectifying and strengthening PCA work nationwide.
