Following the direction of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province and the Quang Ninh Customs Department, the Customs Inspection, Supervision and Control Team No. 1 under Hon Gai Port Customs Branch has arranged officials to carry out procedures for ships and passengers, ensuring compliance with legal regulations while creating favorable conditions for foreign vehicles and tourists to Ha Long City.

Since the beginning of 2024, the Hon Gai Port Customs Branch has processed customs clearance for 54 ships with 47,132 passengers and 29,444 crew members.

The 3 millionth passenger on the Viking Orion to Ha Long was Tina Bogle, an American citizen, traveling with her husband Davia Bogle and nearly 900 tourists, mainly American citizens, on a trip on the Viking Orion across Asia.

The ship departed from Hong Kong, China and arrived in Ha Long, Quang Ninh, at 8:00 a.m. on October 21.

Tourists on board will have the experience of visiting the world heritage-natural wonder of Ha Long Bay, Quang Ninh Museum, city tour to experience culture, cuisine and some other tourist attractions.

Most recently, on October 18, 2024, the 5-star cruise ship Costa Serena docked at Ha Long International Passenger Port (Quang Ninh) bringing 3,040 tourists from Hong Kong (China) to Ha Long.

According to the plan, in the 2024-2025 cruise season, there will be about 60 cruise ships coming to Ha Long, with about 100,000 passengers, including luxury cruise ships of shipping firms such as: Viking Orion, Costa, Seven Seas, Noordam, Celebrity Solstice, Le Lapouser, Seabourn, Mein Schiff ...
