After more than two years of being heavily affected by the Covid 19 pandemic, Quang Ninh province provided comprehensive and active solutions to restore tourism immediately after controlling the pandemic, especially when tourism was fully opened in March.
On October 12, the French luxury ship LE LAPEROUSE, carrying 109 tourists, is the first international cruise ship to dock at Quang Ninh Port since the pandemic broke out and is also the second time that the ship arrived in Vietnam.
Hon Gai Seaport Customs Branch states that the department has carried out procedures for ships and passengers' luggage. The customs clearance process ensures smooth operation and complies with regulations on preventing the Covid-19 pandemic.
The ship will stay for two nights, until October 14 and leave the port. In Ha Long, cruise ship tourists will visit Ha Long city and Ha Long Bay, shopping and using entertainment services.
The return of international cruise ships shows a positive sign for the management of the Hon Gai Seaport Customs Branch and the local tourism sector.
