HCM City Customs: launching the VASSCM in bonded warehouse

VCN – Saigon port area 3 Customs Branch – HCM City Customs Department, officially launched the Automated System for Seaport Customs Management (VASSCM) in the Lotus bonded warehouse of Lotus Joint Venture Company and Vegetable Oil Container Port Joint Stock Company.

Thus, up to now, Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department has finished the deployment at 29/30 ports (only 1 CFS warehouse) and almost 17 bonded warehouses. It is expected that, in this week, the Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department will complete the deployment at every warehouse, yard and port.

Previously, the Ho Chi Minh City Customs Department has launched VASSCM at the bonded warehouse in the area. On 23/11, the Hi-Tech Park Customs Branch deployed VASSCM at Ryobi bonded warehouse of Ryobi Distribution Service Co., Ltd, with code of supervision location, 02F3W01, and Transimex bonded warehouse of Transimex Hitech Park Logistic one-member limited liability Company, with code of supervision location, 02F3W01.

Tan Thuan Export Processing Zone Customs Branch will officially launch the VASSCM at Tan Thuan Bonded Warehouse of Tan Thuan Co., Ltd (TTC), code of supervision location is 02XEW01; Tan Tao Bonded Warehouse of Tan Tao Forwarding & Warehousing Corporation (ITA TRANS), code of supervision location is 02XEW02.

Hiep Phuoc Port Customs Branch has officially deployed VASSCM at the bonded warehouse of Sai Gon - Hiep Phuoc Port (port code is VNCSP) Branch of Sai Gon Port - Hiep Phuoc Port Joint Stock Company, code of supervision location is 02CVW02.

HCM City Customs requested enterprises to notice that the information on customs declaration should be complied in accordance with Article 18 of Circular No. 38/2015/TT-BTC, dated 25/3/2018, which was amended and supplemented in Clause 7 of Article 1 Circular 39/2018/TT-BTC dated 20/04/2018 of the Minister of Finance.

The implementation of regulations on customs supervision of import and export goods that was brought in, was reserved and released for port areas, warehouses, yards and places as stipulated in Article 52, Article 52a and Article 52b of the Circular No. 38/2015/TT-BTC dated 25/3/2015, which was amended and supplemented at Items 31 and 32, Article 1 of Circular No. 39/2018/TT-BTC dated 20/4/2018 of the Minister of Finance.
