As of November 21, Hai Phong Customs Department has achieved the revenue target, earlier more than one month of the dealine.

Specifically, from the beginning of the year to November 21, Hai Phong Customs Department collected VND67,735.3 billion, reaching 101.9% of the annual estimate, an increase of VND9,886.5 billion (equivalent to an increase of 17.1%) compared to the same period in 2023.

Of which, the revenue collected in Hai Phong area gained VND58,836.9 billion, reaching 100.1% of the estimate (VND58,800 billion) and 98.1% of the target assigned by the Hai Phong City People's Council (VND60,000 billion), up VND8,224.5 billion (equivalent to 16.3%).

The revenue in the three provinces of Hai Duong, Hung Yen and Thai Binh achieved VND8,898.4 billion, reaching 115.7% of the estimate, an increase of VND1,662.1 billion (equivalent to 23%).

Some Customs branches have contributed the large revenue to the overall results of the whole Department such as: Zone 1st Hai Phong Seaport Customs Branch at VND 19,522 billion (accounting for 28.8% of the total revenue of the whole Department), Zone 3rd Hai Phong Seaport Customs Branch at VND13,333.5 billion (accounting for 19.7% of the total revenue), Dinh Vu Port Customs Branch at VND9,800.6 billion (accounting for 14.5% of the total revenue), Investment - Processing Customs Branch at VND7,975 billion (accounting for 11.8% of the total revenue)...

Determining the state revenue collection as one of the top key political tasks, from the beginning of the year, Hai Phong Customs Department has effectively implemented revenue collection solutions under Directive No. 371/CT-TCHQ dated January 24, 2024 of the Director General of the General Department of Vietnam Customs; Directive 1141/CT-HQHP dated February 1, 2024 of the Director of the Hai Phong Customs Department.

Notably, all civil servants and employees of the department have made efforts and determination in performing their tasks with specific action principles, suitable to the actual conditions of the units.

With the excellent completion of the 2024 state revenue target - one of the key political tasks of the year, Hai Phong Customs Department has made an important contribution to the results of the task performance of the entire Customs sector and Hai Phong city.
