This revenue is lower than in 2022 because January falls two long holidays.

According to Hanoi Customs Department, the department is assigned a revenue target of VND33,160 billion. To achieve the target, the department has implemented solutions to facilitate enterprises. It has also contacted businesses, especially major enterprises, to support them in customs processes; coordinated with industry associations and logistics companies to grasp difficulties and problems to solve promptly.

The department has closely collaborated with departments under the General Department of Vietnam Customs and local government agencies of Hanoi, Vinh Phuc, Phu Tho, Yen Bai and Hoa Binh.

In addition to implementing solutions, the department has analyzed, assessed and assigned revenue targets to its branches in line with reality and to create motivation for them.

In 2022, the import and export turnover across Hanoi Customs Department saw a year-on-year increase of 34% to US$ 64.5 billion.

The export turnover rose by 26% to US$29 billion, and the import turnover grew by 28% to US$34.5 billion.

Taxable goods' import and export turnover increased by 8.4% to US$ 12.05 billion.

The department's revenue rose by 25% to VND34,490 billion.
