Ha Nam Ninh Customs Department appoints new Director
The meeting was attended by Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee Pham Quang Ngoc; Member of Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of People's Committee of Ninh Binh Province Tran Song Tung; Provincial Party Member, Vice Chairman of Ha Nam Provincial People's Committee Tran Xuan Duong; Member of Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Nam Dinh Provincial People's Committee Tran Le Doai, and representatives of departments, agencies and sectors of Ninh Binh, Nam Dinh and Ha Nam provinces.

At the meeting, Director General Nguyen Van Can awarded Decision 939/QD-TCHQ dated April 28 on the appointment of Mrs. Nguyen Thu Nhieu as the Director of Ha Nam Ninh Customs Department from May 1, 2023.
Congratulating and assigning tasks to the new Director of Ha Nam Ninh Customs Department Director General Nguyen Van Can said that Ha Nam Ninh Customs Department was established under Decision 546/QD-TTg dated April 4, 2016 of Prime Minister on the performance of State administration of Customs in three provinces of Ninh Binh, Ha Nam, and Nam Dinh.
Currently, Ha Nam Ninh Customs Department has completed its leadership to meet the requirements and tasks assigned by the General Department of Vietnam Customs and the Ministry of Finance.

Director General Nguyen Van Can said that the department played an important role and position in performing tasks in three provinces of Ninh Binh, Nam Dinh and Ha Nam, which are home to many industrial parks and FDI enterprises. Therefore, the Director General requested the new director and department’s leaders to continue to perform the State administration of Customs and facilitate import and export enterprises in line with regulations, contributing to the socioeconomic development of these provinces.
The Director General wished Director Nguyen Thu Nhieu to continue to promote her administration capacity and uphold the spirit of solidarity, unity, and experience in directing and administering to fulfill the assigned tasks.

At the meeting, Director Nguyen Thu Nhieu thanked the Party Committee, leaders of the Ministry of Finance, General Department of Vietnam Customs, Provincial Party Committee, People's Committee of Ninh Binh, Ha Nam and Nam Dinh provinces for trusting and supporting her to hold the new position.
In the near future, Director Nguyen Thu Nhieu expressed her determination with the Party Committee and leaders of the Department to unify and strictly abide by the Party's policies and the Law of the State; take advantage of the support by the leaders of the Ministry of Finance, the General Department of Vietnam Customs, the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Council, the People's Committees of Ninh Binh, Nam Dinh, and Ha Nam provinces and the coordination of relevant forces, ministries and sectors to effectively administer the tasks.
She said that she would improve her qualifications and capabilities, contributing to the achievements of the department and the Customs sector.
At the meeting, the GDVC awarded awarded the decision on retirement to Mr. Pham Hong Thanh, former Director of Ha Nam Ninh Customs Department. Director General Nguyen Van Can highly appreciated the great efforts and contributions of Mr. Pham Hong Thanh during his work.
