GDVC appoints Nguyen Hong Linh as Director of Nghe An Customs Department

The GDVC held a ceremony to announce and award appointment decision to the director, on November 26, in Nghe An.

The ceremony was attended by the GDVC’s Director General Nguyen Van Tho; Bui Thanh An, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Nam Dinh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Nghe An province; leaders and representatives of agencies and departments of Nghe An province, the Party Committee, Lang Son Customs Department and Nghe An Customs Department.

At the ceremony, the representative of the Personnel and Organization Department announced Decision 2715/QD-TCHQ dated November 21, 2024 on appointment of the Director of Nghe An Customs Department.

Speaking at the ceremony, Director General Nguyen Van Tho directed the new Director of Nghe An Customs Department to promote his leadership capacity and experience, grasp the work, and coordinate with other leaders of Nghe An Customs Department to accomplish assigned tasks.

The Director General emphasized that in his new position, Director Nguyen Hong Linh needs to focus on grasping the work, promoting internal democracy, gaining the support of the Provincial Party Committee and the People's Committee of Nghe An province to maintain and foster the achievements of Nghe An Customs Department.

Additionally, the new Director needs to make great efforts to develop Nghe An Customs Department, contributing to accomplishing the tasks of Customs sector and building and boosting the economy and society in Nghe An province.

Following the direction of the Director General, Director Nguyen Hong Linh sent his thanks to the leaders of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee and the GDVC for trusting and appointing him in the new area.

Director Nguyen Hong Linh expressed his determination to make great efforts and collaborate with other leaders to effectively direct and manage to successfully complete the assigned tasks.

He said that Nghe An Customs Department will cooperate with relevant units; regularly improve qualifications and capacity to contribute to the overall achievements of the department, the Customs sector in particular and Nghe An province in general.
