General Department of Vietnam Customs urges Hai Phong Customs to collect tax debts

VCN – General Department of Vietnam Customs issued a document to direct Hai Phong Customs Department to implement measures for urging the collection of tax debts.

According to General Department of Vietnam Customs, as of 30/11, total amount of overdue tax debts declarations that have already cleared Hai Phong Customs Department is nearly VND 1,115 billion.

In that, doubtful debt group is nearly VND 992 billion. Debts waiting for cancellation, exemption, and extension are nearly VND 42 billion; recoverable debts are nearly VND 81 billion.

In order to complete the assigned task of tax debts recovery, the General Department of Vietnam Customs requests the Hai Phong Customs Department to continue promptly implementing measures to urge and recover tax debts as of 30/11, and amounting to nearly VND 81 billion.

Regarding the budget collection task of Hai Phong Customs Department, according to preliminary information of the General Department of Vietnam Customs, as of 14/12, the total revenue of Hai Phong Customs Department reached VND 49,954.24 billion, equivalent to 84.67% of current appropriation and 93.62% of minimum revenue targets that have to be achieved in 2017.
