Exports through Cao Bang Customs Department surges in September

Specifically, in September, the entire Cao Bang Customs Department completed import and export procedures for goods saw a month-on-month increase of 64% to US$102.1 million.

Notably, the export turnover reached US$92.2 million, an increase of 82.2%; while the import turnover reached US$9.9 million, a decrease of 16%.

The export turnover through Cao Bang Customs Department surged in September mainly from the group of vegetables, fruits, cashew nuts, base metals and products.

Of which, vegetables and fruits reached US$50.33 million, up1,303%; base metals and products reached US$10.93 million, up 228%; Cashew nuts reached US$10.41 million, up 104%.

Regarding state budget revenue, in September, the total revenue of the Department grew 74.67% over the same period last year to VND81.1 billion VND.

During the month, the Department's revenue was mainly from items such as: lead ingots, nickel concentrate... exported; all kinds of cars, fabrics, enamel, coke, machinery, equipment of all kinds... imported.

In particular, the higher revenue in September than previous months was mainly due to large revenue from nickel exports (VND49.3 billion), accounting for 61% of the total revenue of the Department (in August there was not nickel exports).
