VCN - The preliminary state revenue of Customs sector in June was VND38,810 billion, according to General Department of Vietnam Customs on the afternoon of July 1.

With the results in June, in the first six months of the year, the total state revenue of the Customs sector reached VND226,588 billion, reaching 64.4% of the current appropriation, reaching 61.2% of the target, an increase of 15.4% compared to the same period last year.
Regarding import and export activities, in June, the total turnover was estimated at US$65.01 billion, rising 2.3% over the previous month (equivalent to US$1.48 billion). In particular, exports were estimated at US$32.64 billion, increasing by 5.6% (equivalent to US$1.73 billion), and imports were estimated at US$32.37 billion, decreasing by 0.8% (equivalent to US$246 million).
Thus, the total import-export turnover of the whole country in six months is estimated at US$371.2 billion, increasing by 16.4%, equivalent to an increase of US$52.17 billion over the same period in 2021. In particular, exports are estimated to reach US$185.94 billion, growing by 17.3% (corresponding to an increase of $27.37 billion) and imports are estimated at US$185.23 billion, increasing by 15.5% (equaling to an increase of US$24.8 billion).
Therefore, in June, the country witnessed a trade surplus of US$276 million. By the end of six months, the country experienced a trade surplus of US$710 million.
